NWC is extremely proud to have won this year’s ‘Learning and Career Development’ accolade at the BIFM Awards 2016 ceremony.
The company’s expansion – the business has doubled in size in the last three years – meant that there was a requirement to recruit and retain a skilled labour force in a “challenging” market, whilst tackling a skills shortage in the industry and driving quality standards ever higher.
The Judges said that NWC ‘demonstrated how they recruited non-skilled workers, nurtured and trained them into skilled window cleaners, and then developed individuals to become leaders of the business’.
The Judges also commented on how refreshing our business was to be involved with.
We were also a finalist in the category for ‘Brand Impact’, which we submitted in partnership with Sainsbury’s. This is also a terrific achievement in itself.
Well done to everyone in NWC, we are delighted to receive this prestigious award, and that Nationwide Window Cleaning is being recognised for being the hardworking, progressive business that it is.
